Printed cards are out of date after a move or a new job title — and the last one is always in the other van. SchnurCard is a web page at your own address. The front shows your name, role and contact details; the back shows the QR code. One tap saves the contact as a vCard, with photo and company. Creating it is free; you only pay when you publish.

01 What is on the card

Everything on it, nothing to install.

Portrait, your own wording, tap-to-contact and up to eight links. In four languages, in light and dark mode.

The card holds up to twelve blocks: a key statement, bullet points, a product line, links and a footer. Email, phone, website and address are proper links — one tap calls or starts a message. The link icons are our own; no third-party service is loaded for them. Contrast is checked as you build, in both light and dark mode.

What the recipient can do.

Save it, share it, keep it as an app. No account, nothing to install.

The contact is saved to the address book as a vCard. Sharing works through the device’s own menu. The card can also sit on the home screen as an icon. On top of that, there is a poster with a large QR code and an A4 sheet of ten cards to cut out. You can program a blank NFC sticker with Chrome on Android; other devices can’t do this.

03 For companies

Cards for the whole team.

One company template for branding, colours and fonts. Every new employee card starts from it.

Anyone editing a card changes the person, contact details and portrait — the company look stays the same. The cards belong to the company: you assign them to employees, take them back or deactivate them, for example when someone leaves. All company cards are listed on one page in your account, with link, QR code and status.

Managing company cards is open to organisation owners and organisation administrators, and it sits in the account.

04 Price

Creating a card is free.

You pay per card per month, and only once you publish. One price, everything included.

You create the card, fill it in and see the finished result — without entering any payment details. It only costs money once it goes live at its address. Languages, QR code, poster and NFC cost nothing extra. Prices are listed further down this page. SchnurCard is only available to companies, trade businesses and the self-employed.

A year costs ten monthly prices — twelve months for the price of ten.

The tier applies to ALL cards on the account, not only from the fifth one onwards: whoever runs six cards pays the tier price for all six.

  • Building costs nothing. You only pay when you publish.
  • Cancel any month. The card keeps running until the end of the period you paid for.
  • 14 days right of withdrawal from the conclusion of the contract — refunded in full, not pro rata.
  • After cancelling, the card stays readable for twelve months and its address stays reserved for you for twelve months. A printed card never points at a stranger.

05 Analytics

You see whether the card lands. We do not see who opens it.

Every card comes with analytics over 7, 30 or 90 days. They count events, not people: 112 views means opened 112 times — not 112 people.

What is counted

  • Views of the card, and how many came from a device that had never had it open
  • Saved contacts — the one number that shows whether a card works
  • Contact routes that were tapped: phone, e-mail, website, link — the kind, never the target
  • Shared, installed as an app, cutting sheet and poster opened, NFC written
  • Language of the card, country per Cloudflare, weekday and hour in Europe/Berlin
  • A daily series over the period and the comparison with the previous one

What is not stored

  • No IP address. It is only used for rate limiting in memory and is never stored.
  • No cookie, no identifier, nothing that could connect two visits to each other.
  • No fingerprint: no browser string, no screen size, no font list.
  • No dwell time, no history, no target of a click — only its kind.
  • No device type. Whether phone, tablet or PC appears nowhere.
  • The QR code on poster and cutting sheet carries the business card itself — that scan never reaches us.

Without a Cloudflare header there is no country; then it honestly says “unknown”. And whatever a device collected without a network counts on the day it arrives.
