And how is all that secured? Server-first, with backups.Your people record attendance in the web app on their phone — there the server sets the time and confirms every entry. Chat and calendar sit on the same server. Your projects stay a file with you, keep working offline and sync encrypted through the server. Plus automatic backups, so nothing gets lost.
Honestly: we do not quote invented uptime figures. What is written here is built or clearly marked as a direction.
The encrypted server sync is the standard for team projects: changes go out to every device automatically — and the core work still runs fully offline.
Plans, pins, photos and drawings go out the moment you save. Chat, calendar and to-dos are picked up at the next sync.
The presence view shows who is currently in which project and plan — coordination gets shorter.
If two people work on the same spot, the app lets you know in time. Nothing gets lost along the way.
The server backs up daily at 00:00 UTC, with a 7-day rotation. A restore keeps the previous state as its own point.
A second server keeps a copy ready. To be honest: switching over in an emergency is done by a person, not by automation.
Your data sits encrypted with AES-256-GCM, with a separate key per organization. A copied data folder alone is worthless.
No signal on site? Just keep working. As soon as you are back online, SchnurPlan reconciles everything by itself.
