If the Cloudflare Turnstile bot protection is switched on for the registration page, it protects the form against automated sign-ups.

  • Remember the language (sp_lang, one year — without consent only until you close the browser), expanded and collapsed sections in your account (sp_klapp, one year), light or dark display (sp_theme) and a dismissed install hint (sp_install_hint_dismissed), both in your browser’s local storage — without consent only for the current session.

The solution
Open the web app in your browser, add it to your home screen and sign in with your organisation’s login. No app store.

The web app doesn’t need an installation file. You open it in your browser and add it to your home screen as an icon; from then on it starts like any other app. It keeps working offline and syncs as soon as there is a connection. The full program for measurements, cutting lists and reports runs on Windows. You download the installer from your account or from the downloads page.

  3. Sign in with your login With your organisation’s login. Your permissions come with it.

iPhone and iPad

Open Safari, tap Share, choose “Add to Home Screen”.

Type the app address into Safari. On iPhone the Share icon is at the bottom, on iPad at the top right. Scroll down in the menu and choose “Add to Home Screen”. The SchnurPlan icon then sits next to your other apps. When you open it for the first time, you sign in with your organisation’s login.

  2. Tap Share

    The Share icon at the bottom (iPhone) or top right (iPad).

  3. “Add to Home Screen”

    Scroll down in the menu and choose “Add to Home Screen”.

  4. Done

    The SchnurPlan icon sits on your home screen. Works offline, syncs automatically.

Android

Open in Chrome, tap the menu, choose “Install app”.

Open the address in Chrome and tap the three-dot menu. There you will find “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”. SchnurPlan then starts from your home screen in its own window. Here too, you can keep working offline; everything syncs as soon as you have a signal again.

Live sync with your PC

app.schnursolutions.com is the app you install. Sign in with your account and your projects sync, encrypted, through the SchnurSolutions server. So the same projects are up to date on site and at your desk — no pairing, no going through the PC.

Allow location (optional)

Location helps with attendance. The app asks for it the first time you open it; choose “While Using the App”. To be honest: location is only picked up while the app is open and active — a web app isn’t allowed to track you secretly in the background. Without location, the site QR code and manual confirmation do the job.

Windows PC

Create an account, download the signed installer, sign in. No licence key to type in.

Create a business account and try it free for 14 days — no credit card needed. Then download the installer from your account. Windows asks once for administrator rights. When you first start the program, you sign in, which activates the licence. The app fetches signed updates itself, in the background if you like. Requires 64-bit Windows 10 or 11.

SchnurViewer — free

Anyone who only needs to follow along — owners, surveyors, subcontractors — needs neither SchnurPlan nor a licence. SchnurViewer shows the shared projects read-only and costs nothing. You still sign in: you only see what an organisation has shared with your email address.
