The optimiser factors in edge banding, handles L-cuts and packs the layout tight. Out comes the shop plan as HTML, PDF and DXF, straight to the saw.

Photos hang on the pin in the plan; from the second one a slider lays before over after. The site-diary PDF files every shot under its day and its pin — it reads the day from the photo’s own capture data, without a single extra move.

Facade areas including window and door openings get covered completely: L-shaped parts around opening corners, minimum-web rules, selectable grain direction. You plan the substructure as a grid right along with it. A native C++ core works through the variants, and the waste badge shows honest numbers.

Two shots of the same pin, a different day: a wipe slider reveals before against after, you pick the pair yourself, the magnifier goes into the detail — on the PC and in the HTML report; on the phone the app shows the shots one at a time. Insta360 cameras pair via USB or camera Wi-Fi, with live preview and remote shutter.
Pin categories and batch import.
Pins carry names, colours and categories — and exports filter by them. Lots of photos at once? Drag and drop: card onto a pin — assigned; onto a free spot — a new pin. “Crack north wall” says more than a number.
Every device, one state — with presence.
Changes merge field by field, offline-first: keep working on the road, the catch-up follows as soon as you are back online. Avatar circles show who is working in the project right now; the sync status stays visible at all times, with pause and resume.

The PDF report is clickable: pins jump to their detail page and back to the plan, original plans stay true vectors, everything carries timestamps. The 360° panoramas are embedded, rotatable, in a single HTML file — shareable offline, no account needed.
Small helpers, big effect.
The action pen turns handwriting into clean shapes and text — scribble something out and it goes, a check mark drops a to-do right there. The magnifier makes finger work pixel-precise. On top: a live legend, undo everywhere — including the view — and timestamps on everything.

Channels with @mentions, tasks with owner, due date and pin reference, appointments in the team calendar. The notification centre collects it all with an unread counter — nothing slips through.

Does SchnurPlan work offline?+
Yes. Surveying, documentation and cutting work without internet — for up to 14 days beyond the end of the paid period. After that, editing is locked until the app has been online again. As soon as you are back online, the server sync reconciles your changes automatically.
How does the team sync work?+
Your projects run encrypted through the SchnurSolutions server. Plans, pins, photos and drawings go out the moment you save; chat, calendar and to-dos are picked up at the next sync. Avatars show who is working in which project. The migration assistant lifts existing OneDrive projects onto the server: it only reads the old files, leaves them untouched and counts every row at the end. One condition we state openly: if the old OneDrive exchange folder has not been worked through yet, the old sync has to be switched on once for that — it is off by default.
Who can see my projects?+
Only the members of your organisation who have been granted access — every access is checked on the server. On the server disk your data is encrypted: AES-256-GCM, with a separate key per organisation. A copied data folder alone is worthless.
Is my data backed up?+
Yes. The server backs up every organisation daily at 00:00 UTC, with a 7-day rotation; a restore keeps the previous state as its own point. A mirror server holds a second copy. To be honest: switching over to the mirror is done by a person, not by automation.

How much storage is included — and how safe is my data?+
MAX includes 100 GB per organisation. Need more? Add 100 GB blocks for €30 net per month, right from your account. Your data sits encrypted on our server; we back up daily, seven days back. Your own organisation admin can restore — in the app’s backup window, with a typed confirmation. Backups do not count towards your quota.
